The sequel to 2018’s sublime Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been announced by Sony Pictures. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will released in U.S. theaters through Universal Pictures on April 8, 2022.

The first Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released on December 14, 2018. That film made $375.3 Million at the worldwide box office and received numerous awards, including: Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, 46th Annie Awards, 24th Critics’ Choice Awards, and 76th Golden Globe Awards.
