Deadline has confirmed that Santa Clarita Diet and Justified star Timothy Olyphant is joining the second season of Disney+’s The Mandalorian.

While a majority of details have been kept tight lipped when referring to the upcoming sophomore season of the Star Wars series, Olyphant is the latest star to be revealed for the cast of the highly anticipated season. The Emmy-nominated actor has gained a big following from playing a tough deputy U.S. Marshal in Justified, a sheriff in Deadwood, and his last television project Santa Clarita Diet. Olyphant will be another new face to the series, alongside Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano), Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan) and Michael Biehn. The character Olyphant will be portraying has yet to be revealed, making it unknown whether or not he will playing a new character or a well-known character from the infamous Star Wars universe. The variety in his chosen acting roles in the past displays that anything can be thrown at him and he’d nail it.
