The Mighty Ducks

Emilio Estevez will reprise his role as Coach Gordon Bombay.

This actor joins already cast: Lauren Graham, Brady Noon, Swayam Bhatia, Taegen Burns, Julee Cerda, Bella Higginbotham, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Maxwell Simkins, and De’Jon Watts.

The Mighty Ducks‘ plot synopsis: “the reboot is set in present-day Minnesota, where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Estevez), they discover the joys of playing just for the love of the game.”

Steve Brill is writing the screenplays for the TV series.

Nabiyah Be has been cast as Simone Jackson, “Daisy’s closest friend and fellow musician who unexpectedly finds herself at the forefront of the underground disco scene of the mid 1970s.”

Will Harrison has been cast as Graham Dunne, “Billy’s little brother whose desire to form a band ignites the spark that takes them all from small town Pittsburgh boys to the top of the charts.”

Suki Waterhouse has been cast as Karen Sirko, “a true original and one of the first women in the overwhelmingly male world of rock and roll.”

Josh Whitehouse has been cast as Eddie Roundtree, “fiery bassist of The Six who can’t seem to shake the chip on his shoulder that comes from being in someone else’s band.”

These actors and actress join already cast Riley Keough and Sam Claflin.

Daisy Jones & The Six‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, “Daisy is a girl coming of age in L.A. in the late sixties, sneaking into clubs on the Sunset Strip, sleeping with rock stars, and dreaming of singing at the Whisky a Go Go. The sex and drugs are thrilling, but it’s the rock ’n’ roll she loves most. By the time she’s twenty, her voice is getting noticed, and she has the kind of heedless beauty that makes people do crazy things.

Also getting noticed is The Six, a band led by the brooding Billy Dunne. On the eve of their first tour, his girlfriend Camila finds out she’s pregnant, and with the pressure of impending fatherhood and fame, Billy goes a little wild on the road.

Daisy and Billy cross paths when a producer realizes that the key to supercharged success is to put the two together. What happens next will become the stuff of legend.”

Karen Obilom has been cast as Roni Evers, “a military veteran with a mysterious past who Vic Stone/Cyborg (Wade) meets while attending a PTSD support group.”

Iola Evans has been cast as Callie. “Whip-smart and passionate with a rebellious streak to boot, Callie has spent years ignoring expectations in order to fight for the causes in which she believes. But when the apocalypse devastates the world she had been working so hard to save, Callie must find a new purpose, and future, for all that remains of humanity.”

Adain Bradley has been cast as Reese. “Hard-working and headstrong, Reese has spent a lifetime in fierce competition with his beloved sister, Callie. But when the opportunity to finally prove his worth comes with an incredible cost, Reese must figure out what lines he is willing to cross to finally come out on top.”

Leo Howard has been cast as August. “A Rebellious and passionate musician, August is a member of a radical environmental group dedicated to saving the planet by any means necessary. After the apocalypse, he must figure out how to go on when everything he had been fighting for is gone.”

The 100 Prequel’s plot synopsis: “The Untitled 100 Prequel is set 97 years before the events of the original series. It starts with the end of the world — a nuclear apocalypse that wipes out most of the human population on Earth — and follows a band of survivors on the ground as they learn to cope in a dangerous world while fighting to create a new and better society from the ashes of what came before.”

Jason Rothenberg is writing the screenplays the TV series.
