What did you think?: The Last Airbender

Now that you have seen it, what did you think of The Last Airbender? Is The Last Airbender (2010) M. Night Shyamalan‘s return to form? It always seemed to me that M. Night Shyamalan could direct a studio film with his eyes closed, just like Woody Allen can. What’s your opinion? Am I correct? The martial arts in the film look good but how are the special effects? A lot of money was spent on this tent-pole film.  Does it show? I caught a glimpse or two of the original anime this film is based upon, though I hear The Last Airbender is its own film. Does this film stay true to the concepts in its source content or is too divergent for your tastes? Let us know all of your thoughts on The Last Airbender below.
