While the talented Ryan Reynolds and the versatile Hugh Jackman will be starring in Deadpool 3 together, a new addition to the cast has just been revealed. Corrin played in two acclaimed films this past fall. One of the roles Corrin played was in the Amazon picture featuring Harry Styles titled My Policeman and the other one of Corrin’s big parts last year was in the much adored Netflix movie, Lady Chatterley’s Lover. Corrin is best known to mainstream audiences, however, for playing Lady Diana Spencer on the hit show, “The Crown.” Both My Policeman and Lady Chatterley’s Lover have been successful for their respective streaming services and have secured plenty of fans since their premiere last fall. Corrin’s work in both films has launched the performer to a stardom which makes Corrin ready for the Hollywood limelight.

Deadpool 3 is a chance for Corrin to breakout into the mainstream with a major part in a superhero movie which has tremendous wide appeal. Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine in the picture making it a true curiosity piece for fans of superhero movies.

The first Deadpool earned an astonishing $363 million domestically. The second Deadpool picture made $324 million in the U.S. and Canada. It will be six years in-between the releases of Deadpool 2 and Deadpool 3 which makes bringing Corrin (and, of course, Jackman) into the new picture so important to the new movie’s success. It is pivotal to be doing something fresh and original that will help get Deadpool fans into theaters. Both Deadpool pictures that have been released earned “A” CinemaScore grades suggesting audiences loved them both equally.

Emma Corrin has been doing a lot these days from appearing in Orlando, a stage production based on a Virginia Woolf masterwork, to being cast in visionary filmmaker Robert Eggers’ latest movie, Nosferatu. Eggers just last year wowed mainstream audiences with the visionary epic film, The Northman and before that, Eggers made the compelling horror film for A24 called The Witch. After appearing in an Eggers film and a Deadpool picture, there will seemingly be nothing Corrin can’t do as an artist. Corrin is one of the brightest up-and-comers in movies today and fans of Corrin’s work are excited at the prospect of seeing upcoming film productions featuring the versatile star.
