Robert Forster Has Died at 78

Actor Robert Forster has died at the age of 78 following a battle with brain cancer. Forester starred in over a 100 films, including Quentin Tarantino‘s Jackie Brown and Netflix’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

Training Day Prequel is Being Developed by Warner Bros.

Screenwriter Nick Yarborough is developing a Training Day prequel film for Warner Bros.

The Training Day prequel film’s setting: “it will follow Denzel Washington’s character Alonzo Harris 10 years before the 2001 original film. The prequel will pick up in the time leading up to the L.A. Riots, caused in part by the Rodney King verdict.”

Walker, Texas Ranger Reboot Greenlit at The CW

Walker, Texas Ranger reboot has been greenlit by The CW starring. The reboot will be entitled Walker, will be written by Anna Fricke, and will star Jared Padalecki.

Walker’s plot synopsis: is about “a man finding his way back to his family while investigating crime in the state’s most elite unit. Our broken widower and father of two returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years for a high profile case – only to discover that there’s even more work to be done at home. In a nod to the original series, Walker and his new partner — one of the only women in Texas Rangers’ history — are the modern day heroes our world needs, following their own moral code to fight for what’s right, regardless of the rules.”

Supernatural TNT Halloween Marathon Schedule

TNT is running a Supernatural marathon on October 31, 2019 starting at 10 am and ending at 7 pm. The marathon will span Seasons 6 through 13 of The CW TV series.

Episode 3.03 – “Bad Day at Black Rock”

Sam and Dean come in contact with a rabbit’s foot that gives them good luck until a thief steals it from Sam, giving him bad luck. His bad luck continues when he’s kidnapped by the mentor of a hunter who believes he still has his powers.

Episode 3.11 – “The Mystery Spot”
11:00a.m.-12:00p.m. ET/PT

Dean is killed after looking into a case about the disappearance of a man with Sam. The next morning, Sam is shocked to find Dean alive and is hit with the realization he is reliving the day before.

Episode 3.13 – “Ghostfacers”

While investigating Morton Mansion, Sam and Dean become inadvertent participants in a new reality show named Ghostfacers. As events turn deadly and the team are trapped, the investigation becomes a battle to survive until morning.

Sam and Dean investigate a town plagued with monsters from classic black-and-white horror movies.

Band of Brothers 3, entitled Masters of the Air, Greenlit by Apple TV+

Masters of the Air, the follow-up to Band of Brothers and The Pacific, has been given the official go-ahead by Apple. HBO passed on the project because of its $250 million budget and the withering in-home release market.

Apple is now entering a competitive streaming market and marque exclusives can make a streaming service hence Apple’s decision on Masters of the Air, which will be executive produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. The project will be under Apple’s first in-house studio entitled Masters.

Masters of the Air‘s plot synopsis: based on the nonfiction novel by Donald L. Miller, it “will tell the story of the aerial wars in WWII through the eyes of men of the Eighth Air Force, also known as the Mighty Eighth, who brought the war to Hitler’s doorstep.”

Maniac Cop TV series Given Series Order by HBO

A Maniac Cop TV series, helmed by Nicolas Winding Refn, has been ordered by HBO. The TV series will be based on William Lustig‘s 1998 film of the same title.

Maniac Cop TV series’ plot synopsis: “Set in Los Angeles, the Maniac Cop series is told through a kaleidoscope of characters, from cop to common criminal. A killer in uniform has uncaged mayhem upon the streets. Paranoia leads to social disorder as a city wrestles with the mystery of the exterminator in blue – is he mere mortal, or a supernatural force?”

Alfonso Cuarón Signs Overall TV Deal with Apple TV+

Alfonso Cuarón has signed an overall TV deal with Apple to exclusively create new TV projects for Apple TV+.
