Release Dates 2015-2018: SINISTER SIX, AMAZING SPIDERMAN 3, SINISTER 2

The Theatrical Release Schedule for Sinister Six, The Amazing Spider-man 3, Sinister 2, and other films have been revealed. The announced release dates and the adjusted release schedules are between 2015-2018. All the release dates are subject to change by their producers and/or their distributors.

Sinister 2, the follow-up to last year’s pic that grossed more than $87M worldwide on of a $3M budget, will arrive August 21, 2015. Citadel‘s Ciaran Foy will helm the next chapter, which Sinister director Scott Derrickson is writing with C. Robert Cargill.

Sinister Six

Looking to broaden its Spider-Man franchise, Sony has dated spin-off “Sinister Six” for Nov. 11, 2016 as the next tentpole in its key property

The Amazing Spiderman 3

“The Amazing Spider-Man 3 [has been moved back] two years to 2018…It had originally dated “The Amazing Spider-Man 4 for May 4, 2018, but that’s no longer the plan.

Uncharted

[Sony Pictures has] slated “Uncharted” for June 10, 2016 — the date previously held by “The Amazing Spider-Man 3.”

Pirates Of The Caribbean 5

Disney has slotted Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 for July 7, 2017. Right now the pic has the date to itself but will have some competition from Fantastic Four 2, which bows on July 14 that year, and Despicable Me 3, which opens June 30.

The Best Man Wedding

Malcolm D. Lee is back to write and direct the third film in the series, which Universal has titled and slated for April 15, 2016. The studio says the ensemble cast is returning for The Best Man Wedding, which features the group getting back together for a most unexpected nuptials.
