Projected to earn anywhere between $100 and $125 million in its debut weekend, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour could now make it closer to $150 million earned in its first weekend of play. The news of the early opening came as a slight surprise to those who thought it may not open a day early like other Hollywood blockbusters. Many people thought that due to high preliminary ticket sales, Swift’s concert film would just go ahead and release on Friday. No longer the case. You must get to a theater to see Swift’s concert film on a big screen where it was always fated to be seen. What better time to go than on a Thursday night?

Swift’s new concert film has earned a lot of respect straight across the board as the movie scared off potential film competitors at the box-office. Showtimes have now been added as theaters seem to be making this the film event of the fall.

Though the first screenings will start at 6 PM for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, many people have already bought their tickets to the concert movie’s weekend shows early and will have to wait until it’s their turn to get into theaters showing the concert picture. That is, unless, they snag another ticket for tomorrow and go twice in one weekend. It’s a classic case of something teenagers do when they enjoy a movie’s music. They go in and see the same movie a few times over the premiere weekend. Thursday could end up giving fans a chance to see the movie early before they watch the concert film with a critical eye at their originally planned time. Despite the fact that most reviews are not out yet, the reviews are still expected to be phenomenal for Swift’s enormous hit. Music fans should like it better than others.

Although ticket prices could vary in range from theater to theater for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Swift’s fans have been awaiting the day that they could finally see the film. You won’t have to be a Hollywood star to get into the Swift concert film. You just may have to pay a little more than the average movie, though, depending on the theater. But, at almost three-hours long, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour could also require a large bucket of popcorn and a fairly big sized soda to help keep audience members mesmerized throughout the duration of the film’s lengthy running time.
