Weekend Impressions:

Split will be Number One at the box office this weekend. The film has a great premise, a director possibly on the rise again (M. Night Shyamalan), and two stars (James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy) definitely on the rise. The trailers for Split drove home would unique and unusual the film’s third act make the film.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will premiere in Second. Some of fans of the original xXx film will return to see Xander Cage (Vin Diesel)’s new adventure. With the gaggle of stunts showcased in the trailers and the stars in the film, xXx 3 should attract the intrigued. After this weekend, however, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will most-likely lose nearly half of its audience from this weekend.

Hidden Figures will Third this weekend at the box office. La La Land will be Fourth. Sing will round out the Top Five at the Unites States box office.
