Weekend Impressions

Blade Runner 2049 is going to premiere in First Place at the box office over the weekend. Blade Runner 2049 is the sequel to one of the most seminal science fiction films ever created, a film that has gotten better with age, and boasts an impressive cast. From what I have heard, many of the films secrets and surprises have not appeared in any of the film’s trailers or TV spots. Thank God for that. Reviews for Blade Runner 2049 have also been positive.

With the drop that Kingsman: The Golden Circle will endure this weekend, The Mountain Between Us will premiere in Second Place this weekend. The Mountain Between Us seems like good counter-programming for the action / horror / science fiction films that have dominated and will dominate the box office this weekend.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be Third at the box office this weekend.

It will be Fourth at the box office this weekend.

American Made will be Fifth at the box office this weekend.

This will be the last weekend at the box office in which American Made is in the Top Five.
