New Demi Lovato Song Set to Play in Horror Film

Demi Lovato has a brand new single which will be featured in the new horror movie, Scream VI, which is set to open on March 10th.

While Neve Campbell may be absent from the new Scream movie coming out next month, the film will feature a new song by Demi Lovato called “Still Alive.” Lovato tweeted the news alongside a telephone number that “Ghostface,” the film’s signature killer, answers when you call. You can also hear a snippet of the song as well after dialing the phone number. The single that features Lovato’s new song will be released on March 10th, the same day the movie officially opens.

Demi Lovato is no stranger to having her songs featured in “scary” movies. In 2017, Lovato had a hit called “”Confident” which was featured in the horror picture, Happy Death Day. Lovato’s new song will help streamline the new follow-up to last year’s Scream to young movie-goers who were quite happy with the 2022 film. Scream, the requel (a combination of a sequel and a reboot), earned a whopping $81 million domestically and scored a very respectable “B+” CinemaScore grade.

Jenna Ortega, who co-starred in 2022’s Scream, is a hot commodity now with her recent work on Netflix’s “Wednesday.” Ortega played the infamous Wednesday Addams of “The Addams Family” fame in the hugely popular show. Ortega’s presence in Scream VI coupled with Lovato’s new song will make the film very appealing to young film-goers who will most certainly head out to the movies to see it. Melissa Barrera from last year’s Scream will also be reprising her role from the previous film in the new requel.

Lovato got her start on “Barney & Friends” when she was young and immediately catapulted to stardom. Lovato soon made Camp Rock which was a hit Disney film. She is known mainly for her music, however, with the great album Holy Fvck one of her most notable accomplishments. It was her 8th album. The star was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and had a history of bullying but has overcome all possible obstacles in order to achieve success. She’s even a spokesperson for mental health awareness.

“Still Alive” is going to be a very lively and entertaining song if Lovato’s previous music work is any indication and the song should be a perfect fit for the new horror picture. Like most hit tunes featured in movies, “Still Alive” will be showcased at the end credits of Scream VI so stay put as the movie ends. Lovato’s latest song will most likely not disappoint her fans and people who love the films in the Scream franchise.
