The motion pictures now in-theater are from various Hollywood and independent movie studios. Weekend Impressions:

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be Number One at the box office this weekend for the third weekend in a row. Underworld: Blood Wars is opening this weekend but at most, that film will make $19-$23 Million. That will not be enough to unthrone Rogue One. I have not seen Underworld: Blood Wars but the film looks absolutely vapid from its released trailers. Next week, Underworld: Blood Wars will be hammered by a huge drop-off in theater attendance. Those that were hunger for the next installment of Underworld will have seen the film and that will be that. In addition, Hidden Figures will be released next week and A Monster Calls will open wider. This weekend may be the only weekend where Underworld: Blood Wars cracks the Top Five.

Sing will be Second this weekend. Underworld: Blood Wars will open in Third Place. Passengers will be Fourth. Why Him? will round out the Top Five at the United States box office for this weekend. This will be the last weekend in which Why Him? is in the Top Five at the Unites States box office.
